The Arbinger Institute is excited to welcome our licensed facilitators to the Arbinger Training Summit 2018!

Much thought and preparation has gone into making this a memorable experience for attendees.

Here are some highlights of what to expect at this year’s Training Summit:

What We Learned in 2017. Managing partner and Arbinger author, Mitch Warner, will review takeaways from this past year. Our biggest lesson centered on implementation…which is a major theme of the summit.

Developing an Implementation Game Plan. Jim Ferrell, managing partner and Arbinger author, will share ideas on how we can better implement Arbinger tools in our organizations.

Joy and the Outward Mindset. Richard Sheridan, author of Joy, Inc. How We Built a Workplace People Love and CEO of Menlo Innovations, will give his insights on what would happen if organizations were built on the principles of an outward mindset. Watch this webinar for an introduction to Rich and how he developed Menlo Innovations into a results-focused organization that people love.

Why I Hate Arbinger: How They Screwed Up My Personal and Professional Life. Jo Schaeffer-Crabb, head of learning and development at Tokyo Electron, will talk about her initial skepticism to an outward mindset. Find out what made her change from skeptic to supporter.

Outward Mindset Life Lessons. Sharon Gentry, EHR PMO director at Hospital Corporations of America, will talk about her experiences implementing an outward mindset and the lessons learned both professionally and personally.

Enterprise-Wide Implementation. John Melton, Commander at Womack Army Medical Center, will relate his approach to of implementing an outward mindset across an entire hospital. Cameron Cozzens, director of Arbinger’s Government Practice, will then share exciting results from research conducted during this implementation.

Developing Outward Leaders. Chip Huth, a major in the Kansas City Police Department, will speak to implementing an outward mindset first as a SWAT squad leader and later as a more senior leader in the department. He will give insights on how to develop outward leaders no matter our role in an organization.

Along with these keynote speeches, the Arbinger Training Summit 2018 will include four breakout sessions during which facilitators will learn and practice applying key tools and best practices.

These sessions include:

Assess: Measuring Effectiveness. Explore how to track mindset and performance results over time, then develop a plan to measure effectiveness in your own organization.

Train: Facilitating with an Outward Mindset. Learn how to avoid the inward-mindset traps that undercut your effectiveness as a facilitator.

Implement: Leveraging the Tools to Tackle Challenging Issues. Tackle case studies in this interactive session to help you become an outward mindset implementation expert.

Sustain: Building Coaching Capability. Explore the principles of outward mindset coaching and apply them to your personal coaching situations.

We hope you’re just as excited about this year’s program as we are.

Can’t wait to see you Monday, March 26, at the Arbinger Training Summit 2018!
