Transforming Conflict addresses conflict at its deepest root—how we truly see and thus interact with one another. By utilizing Arbinger’s Inward and Outward Mindset frameworks, participants discover new opportunities to transform previously frustrating and insurmountable conflicts. Participants will grow to understand the value that can emerge from creative tension, while learning steps to prevent escalation of destructive conflict scenarios.
The course accomplishes conflict transformation through exploring how mindset influences our relationships and interactions with others, mapping conflict collusion in brand new and enlightening ways. Following Arbinger’s Outside-Inside-Out™ methodology in conflict transformation, participants will acquire new skills and knowledge illustrated by real-life examples, practical application and first-hand opportunities to role-play conflict scenarios with the group.
Participants leave the course with a clarifying and personalized strategic plan built to address and transform conflicts within their organizations.

Pre-work: Some groups may choose to read or have read The Anatomy of Peace. The book is included in the course material.

Facilitator Certification: Those interested in becoming licensed facilitators for Transforming Conflict must be licensed Arbinger facilitators who have completed the Transforming Conflict with an Outward Mindset Facilitator Training [LINK]

Workshop Format: This session is an interactive, facilitated discussion, punctuated by videos, individual and group exercises, one-on-one sharing, and application of the concepts to actual on-the-job situations facing the participants.
